So excited to join the 52 Project group on the Beautiful Beasties Network!
My first post is for the topic “Mood.”
I had a session with 3 Basset Hounds in studio this past weekend – (L-R) Rosie, Special Agent Timothy McGee, and The Barefoot Contessa.
Rosie is the group senior and very calm so I was delighted that I caught her playful mischief-making mood that struck during our shoot.

Meet Busy, Bumble and Bee — aka The Killer Bs. I had a blast with these precious girls (and their mom!) during our shoot.
After our session, I got an email from mom:
“Thanks for spending the day with us. We’re exhausted!” with this picture attached — it made my day!
My little dog Millie is truly the reason I am a dog photographer. It was my 365 Days of Millie blog years ago that caused me to fall in love with dog photography. Millie is the best little model and will do just about anything I ask as long as there’s a treat involved. After a quick run to the pet store for a new outfit (collar), a new tiny tennis ball and some well-deserved treats, we went to my studio to test out a new lens.
